Annette Macaskill AGSL: Joined the group in 1980
as an adult helper. Became a warrented leader in 1982. Annette is another
former member of the Crosland Moor Guide company. Annette is employed
as a district nursing sister. |

Christina Smith AGSL: Christina first joined us at the age of 14 when she was doing a service element of her Girl Guides Award. She became an assistant cub scout leader at 18, and eventually cub leader. The mantel of Group Leader was taken up in 1996. |

Geoff Ellis AGSL: Geoff first joined the group as a scout at the age of 12. Gained his Queen Scout at the age of 16. He attended the World Jamboree in the Philipine Islands in 1959. He took his first warrant as an assistant scout master at the age of 18. Geoff was Group Scout Leader from 1971 until 1996. |

Green Beaver BSL (Kathryn Starr): Kathryn has been
with the group for some years. She first joined the Venture Scout Unit
at the age of 15. She gained here Queen Scout Award and at the tender
age of 18 she also took out a warrent as an assistant beaver leader. Kathryn
works in the office of a local laundry company. |

Blue Beaver ABSL (Margaret Heald): Margaret, again
a parent who came in to help on the formation of the Beavers. Margaret
is a housewife and mother. |

Mick Heald, ABSL: Mick joined us in the first instance
as a parent and after some time decided to become a leader within the
group. He has helped with the Venture Scout Section and is now also helping
with the beavers. Mick helps with minor works and repairs we may need,
which we often do. |

Akela ACSL (Jen Heald): Jen joined our group in 2003 as a
helper and took out a warrant as ACSL in 2004. She currently works for HBOS
as an Operations Analyst. |
Janet Haigh ACSL: Before joining our group Janet
was involved with the Guide Movement. She worked her way through the sections
before becoming a Rainbow leader. Janet joined our group as a Venture
Scout whilst also being a young leader at a Guide unit. In 2003, Janet
completed her Queen's Scout Award. She graduated from Liverpool John Moores
University in 2005 with a degree in Pharmacy and is currently working
in a local hospital. |

Kaa ACSL (Craig Frost): Craig also joined as a cub
at the age of 8. He is also one of our members who holds his Queen Scout
Award. Craig is employed in the Eduvation Department of Kirklees Counsil. |

Steven Heald SL: Steven was our very first Beaver
Scout at the age of 6. He has moved through all the sections of the group,
he completed his Queen Scout Award in 2003. He was also chosen to attend
the Jamboree in Chile. Steven works as an apprentice maintenence engineer
in the woolen industry. |

Steven
Eastwood ASL: Steven has been with us since being a cub. He was selected
to represent the County at the 20th World Scout Jamboree in Chile. He
has recently completed his Queen Scout Award. Steven is currently studying
at Huddersfield University, he is doing Transport and Logistics |

Alex Sadler: Joined as a cub and has moved through
the sections. She is currently an Explorer Scout and has recently started
to help out at Scout meetings. Alex is due to start her young leader training
in September. |

Rebecca Harper: Started her time at Crosland Moor
as a Beaver Scout. Like Alex she is currently an Explorer Scout and helps
out at Scout meeting. She is also due to start her young leader training
in September. |

Bob Eastwood, Uniformed Helper: Started his scouting
life in 1959 as a Wolf Cub with 20th Milnsbridge. He moved through the
sections at Milnsbridge and achieved his Queen's Scout Award in 1969.
He also used to play in the groups Scout Band. Bob had a long break from
scouting until in 2005 he was asked to start helping at Crosland Moor.
Although he had always helped out with fundraising, transport and other
support things. |

Robert Mate ASL: Joined as a cub and left for a short
while when he was 13. He rejoined as a venture 3 years later. Robert started
helping at Cubs during the year 2000, and is employed as a clerk. |

Graham Starr ASL: Joined our group as a Venture Scout
at the age of 15, going on to gain his Queen Scout Award. His first leader
appointment was with the Beaver Scouts as assistant leader. Graham then
had a spell helping with the Scout section. On the formation of Explorer
Scouts in 2001 he took on the leadership of the new scout section. He
is employed by a local engineering company. |

Andrew Penrose AESL: Andrew joined our group as a Cub at the age of 8. He progressed into Venture Scouts where he gained his Queen Scout Award. At the age of 20 he took out a warrent as a scout leader and eventually became leader in 1994. Andrew has a keen interest in football and plays in a 5-a-side league. |

Robert Baldwin AESL: Robert also joined as a Cub. As a Venture Scout he went through the award scheme and attained his Queen Scout Award. Robert works with one of the major banks. At the age of 20 he took out a warrent as assistant scout leader. He has a keen interest in crown green bowling, he captains his local team. |
