Getting Involved

What skills do you need?
You don't need to be Bear Grylls to be involved with Scouting. There are lots of ways you can lend a hand at your Headquarters, are you handy in the kitchen? Good at fundraising? Or just want to man the Tombola at a coffee morning? The level of involvement is up to you.

How much of my time will it take up?
Volunteering is easy and totally flexible. Help out once a month, once a term or just at special events or camps. There is bound to be a role that suits you if you really want to help. Just ask your child's Leader.

Many people have witnessed first hand how Scouting benefits young people
and want to give something back. It's also a chance to spend more time with your
child and even learn new skills.

Go on, you don't know what you're missing.
