Group Indoor Weekend - Kettleness

 
Seeonee Lair, Kettleness, is a converted Railway Station dating from the 1880's.  It has many interesting original features and is a great place to visit. As it is only 4 miles from Whitby we were able to visit the Grand Turk, a replica of a three-masted sixth-rate frigate, famous for its role in Hornblower as the Indefatigable.  The tour was extremely interesting for cubs, scouts and leaders.
 
The Scouts spent time building and racing go-karts and walking to Runswick Bay.  The cubs made christmas cards, christmas crackers, ginger biscuits and took advantage of the go-karts built by the Scouts to spend some time racing around outdoors.
