Cubs

Learn practical skills while having
adventures with friends

Cubs is the second section of the Scout Group following on from Beavers, aged 8-10½ years, and meet between 6.30-8.00pm on a Wednesday. As a Cub Scout you will experience a huge variety of activities surrounding areas of fitness, global and beliefs, as well as being creative and getting involved in the local community. You’ll be introduced to exciting outdoor skills and take part in adventurous activities, as well as camps, indoor weekends and days out.

The Cub Pack is organised into smaller groups called Sixes, each headed up by older Cubs called Sixers and Seconders. We have four Sixes: Blue, Green, Red and Yellow.

As a Cub Scout you will get the chance to earn a number of badges and awards including Activity badges and Challenge badges. The highest award in Cub Scouts is the Chief Scout’s Silver Award.
